Welcome to Haitian Fashionista– my little corner of the internet where I get to talk about all the things I love. My name is Killy Vincent I am a 20-something girl originally born and raised from Port au Prince Haiti/States. My first love has ALWAYS been fashion -although there have been lots of up and downs and sometimes even hard to see where the future is headed, I’ve always had one thing to keep me steady…..And that’s FASHION! Fashion has been a love of mine since I was a little girl, so I started sewing and exploring what I loved about it, but I didn’t truly know what I wanted out of it. But I Soon quickly realized that I loved sewing, going to fabric stores and could stay there for hours. I could also be in the studio or my room planning designing an outfit for hours. And really in the midst of it all not only did I realize it was my passion but I think it’s one of my soul purposes. This dream that I have I realize I want more than anything for it to turn into a reality. So I moved to I move out to New York City to find more of this dream I have. The self-coincidence that fashion has given me transformed my attitude and outlook towards life. So I created this blog as a way to share my love of fashion and style with you all. The name of my blog “Haitian Fashionista” definitely speaks for itself, it’s about a Haitian girl stumbling and figuring out her way in this world while still staying true to herself. So I hope you enjoy reading my blog as my style continues to evolve and change over time, and I continue to chase my dreams.
